@mariellequinton I don't have any major purchases planned soon, but when they come, it sure won't be anything made in the US or retailed thru a US company. My current vehicle was assembled in Indiana.
Much of what I was getting from Amazon is now coming from Canadian Tire. 10 minutes away.
@mariellequinton I think dropping Amazon purchases alone is $50/week. And theres food purchases, a number of cancelled online services, I'm prob down almost $100/week
@tantramar @hub probably not. If there was some IT or legal management that picked up on the gap between the insurance requirements and the state of things, they were probably ignored by the next levels of management. Or had their funding requests rejected or deferred by council. Happens all the time. Tech debt is expensive.
Hamilton's cybersecurity insurer isn't paying out, because Hamilton didn't satisfy the basic security requirements in the policy they purchased. $18.3M and counting. Ouch!
