@spla @ujay68 What you don't know is whether what is running on their server is exactly what is down in the repository or if patches were applied before it was deployed. Verification of what somebody else is running on their machine isn't (to the best of my knowledge) possible.

And even if it was: It wouldn't matter. The Signal clients are designed in a way that avoids putting trust into the server.
